1. Equipment Overview

The 6300KVA medium and low carbon ferromanganese refining furnace is core special equipment for producing medium and low carbon ferromanganese by electro-silicon thermal process. It adopts fixed furnace roof, top feeding and tilting tapping structure, compatible with both hot charging and cold charging processes. Featuring high-efficiency refining, low energy consumption, environmental friendliness and high automation, it is widely used in ferroalloy smelting industry and serves as mainstream equipment for refined production of manganese-based alloys.

3. Main Equipment Composition

  1. Furnace Body System: Consists of furnace shell, refractory lining and water-cooled furnace roof with top feeding port for good sealing and heat preservation.
  2. Electrode System: Equipped with Φ500mm graphite electrodes. Hydraulic lifting and proportional valve adjustment ensure accurate arc power control and stable molten pool temperature.
  3. Tilting Tapping System: Hydraulic driven tilting mechanism, smooth and safe tapping and slag discharging.
  4. Transformer System: Special 6300KVA electric furnace transformer with 35KV high voltage input and multi-stage adjustable secondary voltage to adapt to different smelting stages.
  5. Hydraulic System: Working pressure 8MPa with water-glycol medium, stable operation and low noise.
